Pastor Tony is committed to faithfully preaching God’s Word, encouraging believers, and helping people grow stronger in their relationship with the Lord. Gwynn Ann serves faithfully alongside him, offering love, support, prayer, and encouragement to those around her.
Their heart is for every person who enters Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church to feel welcomed, valued, and connected. Together, they are dedicated to building a Christ-centered church where families can grow, faith can be strengthened, and everyone can discover the purpose God has for their life.
Rusty and Merriell Braveboy serve faithfully at Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church with hearts committed to God, the church, and its people.
Rusty serves as our Head Deacon, helping provide spiritual leadership, practical support, and care throughout the church. His dedication and willingness to serve help ensure that the needs of the congregation and ministry are met with excellence and compassion.
Merriell serves as our Church Secretary, assisting with communication, organization, records, and the daily administrative needs of the church. Her kindness, attention to detail, and servant’s heart make her a valued part of our ministry team.
Together, Rusty and Merriell are devoted to strengthening the church, supporting its leadership, and helping create a welcoming place where people can grow in their relationship with Christ.
Mike and Patty Barfield serve Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church with dedication, faithfulness, and genuine servant hearts.
Mike serves as a Deacon and is known as someone who is always willing to step in wherever he is needed. From helping with projects and maintenance to supporting church leadership and members, Mike plays an important role in keeping the church moving forward.
Patty serves as the Women’s Ministry Treasurer, faithfully helping manage its finances and supporting the ministry’s events, outreach, and activities. Her organization, dependability, and love for others make her a valued part of the church family.
Together, Mike and Patty are committed to serving God, supporting the ministry, and helping Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church remain a welcoming place where people can grow in faith.
Paten and Taylor Powell are faithful servants who have a heart for the church and its people. Paten serves as our Sunday School Superintendent, helping lead and support our Sunday School ministry while working to create opportunities for people of all ages to grow deeper in their knowledge of God’s Word.
Taylor serves wherever she is needed, always willing to step in, lend a hand, and fill the gaps throughout the different ministries of the church. Her willingness to serve behind the scenes and wherever help is needed is a true blessing to our church family.
Together, Paten and Taylor demonstrate what it means to serve with a willing heart. We are thankful for their dedication, dependability, and commitment to helping the ministry of Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church continue to grow and reach others for Christ.
Steven and Grace Dryden serve in many different areas of our church, often working both in front of and behind the scenes to help keep ministry moving forward each week.
Steven serves as our Sound Engineer and Church Administrator, helping with everything from supporting the praise team and managing sound to assisting with renovations, design projects, building and maintaining our website, and helping oversee our current online platforms. Whether it involves technology, construction, media, or simply finding a solution to a need, Steven is always willing to step in and help wherever he can.
Grace serves as Vice President of Women’s Ministry and also helps lead our Missionettes girls ministry on Wednesday nights, investing in the next generation and helping young girls grow in their faith. She is also a managing partner of our church’s online platforms and is the creative mind behind many of the wonderful graphics, announcements, and designs you see throughout our church and social media.
And, of course, we cannot forget the smallest member of the Dryden team — Ellis! While she may only be three years old, she has already found her own special place in our church family. Thanks to Pastor Tony, many members have affectionately come to know her as “Ellison.” Ellis proudly serves as our Official Church Greeter, usually making sure everyone feels welcomed with a smile, a wave, or a little personality of her own.
Together, Steven, Grace, and Ellis are a wonderful example of how serving the church can truly be a family affair. From sound booths and computer screens to women’s ministry, children’s ministry, creative design, renovations, and greeting people at the door, the Dryden family is thankful for every opportunity to serve God and the Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church family.
Caleb Barfield serves as our Royal Rangers Leader, helping guide and encourage the young men of our church as they grow in their faith, character, leadership, and relationship with God.
In addition to his work with Royal Rangers, Caleb also actively supports his father, Mike, with our Men’s Fellowship ministry, helping wherever needed and taking part in creating opportunities for the men of the church to connect, grow, and strengthen one another.
Caleb’s willingness to serve across generations is a blessing to our church family, and we are thankful for the time, energy, and heart he continues to pour into the ministries of Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Rhonda and Terry Byrd are dedicated servants with a genuine love for God, their church, and the people around them. Rhonda leads our Celebrate Recovery ministry, providing encouragement, support, and a Christ-centered environment for those seeking freedom from life’s hurts, habits, and hang-ups.
Terry faithfully supports Rhonda in her ministry while also serving the church wherever he is needed. He has been especially instrumental during our season of church renovations, generously giving his time, talents, and hard work to help make improvements throughout our church.
Together, Rhonda and Terry demonstrate what it means to serve with compassion, dedication, and a willing heart. We are incredibly thankful for their commitment to ministry and for the many ways they continue to bless the Coward Pentecostal Holiness Church family.
Robert and Chrissy may try to stay behind the scenes and go unnoticed, but the truth is, they play a HUGE part in the life of our church each and every week.
They faithfully serve across many different ministries, always willing to step in wherever there is a need. On top of everything else they do, Robert and Chrissy also take on the weekly task of cleaning and caring for our church — and you best believe, we can make a mess!
Their service may not always happen in the spotlight, but it certainly does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Their dedication, consistency, and willingness to serve are a tremendous blessing to our church family.
